NetIP North America

NetIP is a non-profit organization and is the largest network of South Asian professionals in all of North America. The organization has over 25 chapters in the US & Canada.

After a successful post as the Technology Chair for the Annual NetIP Conference that was held in Toronto in 2009, I was approached by the President & Technology Chair of the entire organization. They were pleased with my work and asked me to come onboard nationally for 2010. It required very little thought, and I gladly accepted.

As Web Technology Chair for NetIP North America, I was tasked to re-design and develop their entire web presence. The old site was extremely outdated and needed a significant improvement. NetIP has tens of thousands of members and has earned numerous accolades. It’s an extremely well-known organization and its site needed to have that same feel. It was also important that the web site was easier to navigate than its predecessor, allowing new & existing members, and general visitors to access information quickly.

I worked closely with the National Technology Chair to conceptualize and create a wireframe for the new web site, and then I took the lead to design the layout. The new design went through a feedback and approval process throughout the entire network of chapters, and all reviews were positive.

The site launched mid-2010.
